Linda Young

Linda Young, Ph.D., is a psychologist whose work has appeared on TV, radio, and print, including CNN, NPR, The Oprah Magazine, USA Today, among others. She focuses on healthy relationships and improving well-being. She is a graduate of Columbia University, where she studied women's mixed signals about sexual decisions. She has written book chapters for university texts as well as journal articles and articles for popular magazines. She also does corporate consulting, workshops, and lectures. Young has partnered with sociologist Pepper Schwartz on relationships workshops for singles and couples. Her university positions have included Senior Staff Psychologist at Seattle University, Assistant Professor of Psychology at National University in La Jolla, CA, Warren College Psychologist at UC San Diego, and Counseling Instructor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, of the City University of New York.
